Full Job Description

We are looking for a compassionate, experienced and detail-oriented front desk employee to join our private practice team as our Orthodontic Front Desk/Scheduling Coordinator.

Must be fluent/bilingual in both English and Spanish)

This position requires an outgoing personality with excellent communication skills and the ability to multi-task well. We are looking for an outgoing, motivated orthodontic receptionist with experience who will treat our patients with respect and professionalism. We are a friendly, passionate and hardworking privately owned orthodontic office dedicated to providing a great patient experience each visit.

Be the first point of contact for new and existing patients. Help make the patients feel like part of the family and cared for even more than they had hoped
Help the treatment coordinator provide a streamlined experience from day 1 for our patients and their family members
Maintain and manage patient records in compliance with privacy and security regulations
Answer and manage incoming calls
Verify insurance benefits
Schedule patient appointments
Confirm upcoming appointments and recalls according to office protocol
Check daily appointment schedule and fill in cancellations and no-shows
Organize referrals to other specialists

SKILLS:

1 year experience in an Orthodontic practice strongly preferred. 1 year experience in a Dental practice required
Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills, ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships.
Effective written and verbal communication skills with all levels of employees and public.
Excellent organizational skills; strong attention to detail, ability to multitask and perform job duties in a timely manner.
Strong computer skills and ability to learn new programs as needed
