Location: 3100 Shore Drive, Virginia Beach, VA 23451

Reports to: Sales Director

FLSA: Exempt, Salaried

Schedule: Full-time: Hybrid role requiring partial onsite presence on Mondays and Fridays, with the remainder split between field/road work and remote work from home. On-call every other weekend

Our Marketing and Sales Team is the driving force behind our growth, connecting our brand with the people who need our solutions most. By bridging innovative marketing campaigns with a consultative sales approach, we turn market insights into meaningful relationships.

The Healthcare Outreach Manager is responsible for planning and implementing marketing and sales activities for WCCB’s Stone Rehabilitation Center and any direct admits for higher levels of care in Assisted Living, Memory Care or Skilled Nursing. Major functions include developing and maintaining referral sources, transition of care coordination, support of digital marketing campaigns to promote and communicate the services and mission of WCCB and the Stone Rehabilitation Center. Develops and maintains contact with key, targeted referral sources toward the generation of new referrals. Develops new referral sources and follows up with discharged clients to determine their need to re-establish services. Provides referral sources with current information on services. Always model our core values of respect, passion, and professionalism, and hold others accountable for doing the same.

What you will do in this Role

Achieves individual sales and volume goals set by leadership.
Manages client referrals, intakes, and preadmission reviews for short-stay patients; fills in for the Admissions Director when needed.
Identifies community senior needs to plan, coordinate, and recommend educational programs and future service lines.
Develops the annual Marketing Plan and conducts ongoing market assessments, competitive analyses, and referral tracking to drive census growth.
Conducts ongoing medical and community outreach to educate about services.
Participates in the weekend on-call rotation for the Admissions Department.
Manages marketing material inventory and promotes the brand at on- and off-campus events.
Shares marketing initiatives in department planning meetings to coordinate team efforts.
Handles other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements

Ability to climb or descent flights of stairs,
Standing or walking for extended periods
Ability to carry/manage computer, marketing materials and other work required equipment for several hours in the day

The Experience You'll Bring

Required:

Experience: 4+ years in Business Development and Referral Sourcing for Life Plan Communities or Senior Living.
Network: A proven "Book of Business" and established relationships with hospital Case Managers.
Tech Skills: Proficiency in CRM systems and Excel database management.
Marketing: Advanced experience creating, evaluating, and assessing strategic marketing plans.
Travel & Licensing: Requires 80% local travel; must have a valid VA driver’s license and proof of auto insurance.

Preferred:

Education: Bachelor’s degree.
Admissions Expertise: Managed admissions processes specifically for skilled nursing facilities.
Technical Skills: Proficient in Epic, Inquire, and Salesforce.
Healthcare & Senior Living: Gained hands-on clinical and operational experience within aging adult communities.

Compensation & Benefits

- Compensation Range: $65,000 - $70,000 (based on relevant experience) with the opportunity to earn an additional $24,000 annually through our bonus program
