Full Job Description

We are looking for a professional, reliable, and customer-focused On-Site Resident Property Manager to oversee the daily operations and community life of our 20 - 35 unit apartment community.

In this role, you will live on-site and serve as the face of the property. You will handle everything from leasing empty units and collecting rent to coordinating maintenance requests and resolving resident issues. You will work closely with our corporate team and report directly to the Regional Property Manager to ensure the property stays clean, profitable, and running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

On-Site Operations: Manage day-to-day operations of the property, including walking the grounds daily to ensure excellent curb appeal, cleanliness, and safety.
Leasing & Marketing: Show available apartments to prospective tenants, process applications (credit/background checks), execute lease agreements, and manage the move-in/move-out process.
Rent Collection: Collect monthly rent payments, log data into the property management system, follow up on delinquencies, and handle the legal notices/eviction process if necessary.
Maintenance Coordination: Receive tenant work orders, prioritize repairs, and coordinate with the maintenance team or outside vendors to ensure swift completion.
Tenant Relations: Act as the primary contact for all resident requests, disputes, and emergencies, enforcing community rules fairly and professionally to maximize lease renewals.
Emergency Response: Serve as the first point of contact for after-hours property emergencies (e.g., major plumbing leaks) to secure the asset.

Qualifications:

Residency: Must be willing and able to live on-site in the provided apartment unit (Required).
Experience: 1–3 years of property management, leasing, or residential hospitality experience (Required).
Customer Service: Strong communication and conflict-resolution skills; ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
Knowledge: Basic understanding of Fair Housing laws and local landlord-tenant regulations.
Availability: Flexibility to handle occasional evening/weekend tenant issues or emergency situations.
Spanish-speaking required

Pay: From $16.90 per hour
