Job Summary

Axiom Staffing is seeking a proactive, organized, and versatile Administrative Assistant for our client in Taneytown, MD. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys wearing multiple hats, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes initiative. Working closely with the owner, you will play a key role in supporting daily operations, improving efficiencies, and contributing to the company's continued growth.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a professional, customer-focused approach. Needs to be able to work with minimum supervision.

Key Responsibilities

Executive Support: Manage and prioritize the Owner’s workflow, calendars, and daily schedules.
Communications & Documentation: Draft, proofread, and format professional correspondence, reports, and instructional materials.
Office Organization: Maintain, update and optimize both physical and digital filing systems to ensure quick retrieval of information.
Business Growth: Assist the Owner directly with core sales, marketing, and client-facing initiatives.
Relationship Management: Build and maintain positive internal and external relationships, reflecting the company’s core values.

Qualifications

Previous administrative assistant, executive assistant, office manager, or administrative coordinator experience preferred.
Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Excellent Excel and data entry skills with a high level of accuracy.
Experience with QuickBooks is preferred but not required.
Strong organizational and time management skills with exceptional attention to detail.
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work independently with minimal supervision.
Professional verbal and written communication skills.
Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn and take ownership of responsibilities.
