Overview

Join our dynamic healthcare team as a CT Technologist in a permanent role dedicated to delivering exceptional diagnostic imaging services. In this vital position, you will operate advanced computed tomography (CT) scanners to produce detailed cross-sectional images that aid in accurate diagnosis and treatment planning. Your expertise will support a wide range of medical procedures, including emergency interventions, interventional radiology, and specialized imaging modalities such as PET scans and mammography. We are seeking a motivated professional who thrives in fast-paced environments and is committed to patient care, radiation safety, and clinical excellence.

Responsibilities

Operate state-of-the-art CT imaging equipment to perform diagnostic scans with precision and efficiency, ensuring high-quality images for accurate interpretation.
Assist in complex procedures including interventional radiology, nuclear medicine (such as PET scans), fluoroscopy, and other advanced imaging techniques.
Collaborate closely with physicians and radiologists to facilitate diagnostic evaluations across various medical specialties, including emergency medicine and trauma centers.
Implement radiation safety protocols diligently to protect patients, staff, and yourself during all imaging procedures.
Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process clearly, ensuring comfort, and maintaining proper aseptic techniques when necessary.
Maintain detailed documentation of procedures performed, equipment calibration, and safety compliance in accordance with hospital policies.
Stay current with technological advancements in radiologic imaging and participate in ongoing training to enhance skills in areas such as mammography, DEXA scans, and physiology-based imaging.

Requirements

Proven experience operating radiologic imaging equipment such as CT scanners, X-ray machines, fluoroscopy units, and nuclear medicine devices.
Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and diagnostic radiology principles essential for accurate image acquisition and interpretation.
Prior experience working in urgent care settings, emergency rooms, or Level I/II trauma centers is highly desirable.
Certification or licensure as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT or equivalent), with additional credentials in mammography or DEXA scans preferred.
Familiarity with radiation safety procedures and implementing radiation protection protocols during all procedures.
Ability to perform under pressure in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail and patient care standards.
Excellent communication skills to explain procedures clearly to patients of diverse backgrounds and collaborate effectively with medical teams.
