As an ER Nurse Manager, you will lead day-to-day operations with strong physician and administrative support, while driving quality, patient safety, and throughput improvements. The Trauma Nurse Manager will typically report to the Director of Emergency Services, and will be supported by seasoned charge nurses, clinical educators, house supervisors, and a responsive ancillary team. As an Emergency Department Nurse Manager, core responsibilities include staffing and scheduling, budget stewardship, triage and throughput optimization, LWBS reduction, quality metrics for sepsis, stroke, and trauma readiness, policy development, Just Culture coaching, and mentorship of emerging leaders.
