Full Job Description

#1 In Home Care is seeking an experienced, Office Manager/Generalist with ADP Workforce Now experience to run daily administrative operations for a high-volume home care team. The person in this role will own recruitment/staffing, onboarding new hires, and compliance documentation.

This position is a great opportunity for someone who's managed a busy front office in home care, home health, or a staffing/agency and able to multi-task working with people, paperwork, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Core Responsibilities:

Oversee day-to-day office operations and coordinate staffing with hiring supervisors
Manage full-cycle recruiting: post jobs, screen applicants, coordinate interviews, support hiring managers, and represent the company at local job fairs
Manage new hire onboarding in ADP Workforce Now, including conducting formal New Hire Orientation sessions
File and respond to unemployment separation notices and claims, ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant responses
Maintain employee records and compliance documentation per LDH home care regulatory requirements
Enter and manage data in LASRS and other required state/payer systems as required
Build and maintain documents/spreadsheets using Google Docs/Sheets
Analyze data and generate reports for leadership
Basic understanding of employment law as it relates to recruiting, hiring, and employee relations (e.g., FLSA, at-will status, discrimination/harassment basics)

Minimum Requirements and Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field highly preferred.
2+ years of office management or administrative leadership experience, ideally in home care, home health, nursing home, or a staffing/recruiting agency setting preferred
Must have hands-on experience with ADP Workforce Now (required); LASRS experience strongly preferred
Working knowledge of unemployment separation notice/claims processes
Recruiting and onboarding experience, including job fair participation
Proficiency with Google Docs/Sheets and Outlook; comfort learning new web-based systems quickly
Understanding LDH HCBS guidelines highly preferred
Strong organizational, communication, and confidentiality skills
