Chief Operating Officer
DFW Region | Dallas–Fort Worth, Texas
Full-Time | Reports to Ownership

Position Overview

A high-growth regional exterior home services organization in the Dallas–Fort Worth market is seeking a Chief Operating Officer to serve as the senior operational leader for the region. This executive will be responsible for driving performance, building scalable infrastructure, and ensuring consistent execution across all territories.

The role requires both strategic leadership and direct operational involvement, overseeing General Managers, protecting margin discipline, and aligning sales and production functions for sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities

Regional Operational Leadership
Provide executive oversight across all regional operations. Lead and develop General Managers, establish clear performance standards, and drive consistency in execution across territories.

Financial and Performance Accountability
Own regional operational performance with direct accountability for KPIs including close rate, gross margin, production timelines, and customer satisfaction. Partner with ownership and finance on budgeting, forecasting, and profitability.

Sales and Execution Alignment
Collaborate with sales leadership to ensure operational readiness supports growth. Maintain discipline around pricing, job costing, and margin management. Improve the handoff from sale to production and reduce project cycle times.

Production and Field Oversight
Oversee production systems and scheduling. Manage subcontractor and vendor relationships. Ensure quality standards are upheld consistently across all field operations.

Organizational Development
Hire, coach, and develop operational leaders. Identify leadership gaps, build succession plans, and ensure the regional structure supports long-term scalability.

Qualifications

10+ years of operational leadership experience
Proven experience leading multi-unit or regional business operations
Franchising experience and/or company-owned operations background strongly preferred
Strong financial acumen with hands-on P&L management experience
Background in construction, home services, or trade-based industries preferred
Track record of scaling operations within growth-oriented environments
