Full Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and motivated CrossFit Coach to inspire and guide individuals through dynamic fitness routines centered around the CrossFit methodology. In this role, you will lead group training sessions, demonstrate proper exercise techniques, and foster a motivating environment that encourages clients to achieve their fitness goals. Your passion for fitness, combined with your coaching expertise, will help clients improve their strength, endurance, and overall health while ensuring safety and proper form at all times. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on members’ lives through innovative coaching and personalized support.

Duties

Lead engaging CrossFit group classes, demonstrating exercises with clarity and enthusiasm to ensure proper technique and safety.
Design tailored workout programs that align with individual client goals, fitness levels, and biomechanics principles.
Motivate clients during workouts by providing encouragement, feedback, and modifications as needed to maximize performance.
Monitor participants closely to ensure correct body mechanics, heavy lifting safety, and injury prevention through manual handling techniques.
Incorporate complementary disciplines such as yoga, Pilates, cycling, or dancing into training sessions to enhance overall fitness and flexibility.
Conduct assessments of clients’ anatomy knowledge, physiology understanding, and movement patterns to optimize program design.
Maintain excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients about their progress, answering questions, and fostering a supportive community atmosphere.

Requirements

Proven experience in coaching group fitness classes with a focus on CrossFit or similar high-intensity training methods.
Certification in CrossFit coaching or equivalent fitness industry credentials; additional certifications in yoga, Pilates, cycling, or sports coaching are a plus.
Strong knowledge of anatomy, biomechanics, physiology, body mechanics, and health club safety standards including CPR/AED certification and first aid training.
Demonstrated ability to teach exercise routines confidently while ensuring proper demonstration and practice techniques.
Excellent communication skills for client engagement, motivation, and fitness sales; experience in personal training is advantageous.
Physical fitness training experience involving heavy lifting, manual handling, and dynamic movements required for effective coaching.
Ability to adapt programs for diverse groups including group fitness classes or specialized sports coaching sessions.
Passion for health and fitness industry trends with a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
