We are growing and in need of an experienced water/wastewater project engineer to join our collaborative, high-energy team.
You will be responsible for:
- Project and client management.
- Preparation of engineering reports, plans and specifications.
- Working independently and as part of a design team, under the supervision of a principal engineer.
- Communication and coordination with clients, engineers, surveyors, drafters/designers, sub-consultants and contractors to complete projects on time and within budget.
- Using engineering, spreadsheet and word processing software in support of design efforts.
The qualified candidate must have:
- Graduated with Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited college and P.E. registration.
- Four to six years of experiences designing and observing construction of water systems (wells, distribution and reservoirs) and wastewater systems (collection and lift stations, treatment a plus) in the United States with increasing responsibility.
- Ability to effectively lead a project and manage engineers, designers, drafters, surveyors and administrative staff assigned to the project.
- Strong self-motivation instincts, excellent written and verbal communication skills with team members, clients, and public agencies.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D and Water CAD.
- The ability to balance multiple projects and deadlines in a challenging and dynamic environment is essential.
- Experience with Idaho Department of Environmental Quality or Washington Department of Health a plus.
- Experience providing construction observation and working with contractors also a plus.
We have openings in our Coeur d’Alene, Idaho office, located a short stroll away from the lake.
We have also have openings in our Liberty Lake, WA office.
