Full Job Description

315 Cuisine is hiring Bartenders! Come and join our Amazing Team!

Our hospitality team provides an amazing dining experience in the heart of the Pacific Northwest.

Responsibility/Areas and Duties:

Set up the bar.

Creating ingredients for craft cocktails include juicing, making and prepping purees, garnishes and bar garnishes.

Creates craft cocktails to 315 standards.

2 years of Bartender experience is required.

Strong customer service background with experience taking food and beverage orders, announce specials, and makes appropriate suggestions.

Is able to build relationships with guests in a hospitality environment and is dedicated to deliver an elevated guest experience.

Has extensive knowledge regarding liquors, wine, beer and bar standards.

Answers guests’ questions regarding food and bar menu items.

Checks back to ensure guest satisfaction.

Work well with your colleagues, managers and ownership.

Presents the bill; handles credit card charges, cash transactions and gift cards as prescribed by 315 Cuisine standard operating procedures.

Break down the bar at the end of the shift.

Reconciles bar drawer and cash from servers.

Advises manager of any complaints as soon as they occur.

Performs clean-up and closing duties as assigned by the Manager.

Attends pre-meal meetings as requested by the Management.

Education, Training and Skills Requirements

High school diploma, G.E.D. or work equivalent.

High level of organization, time management and customer service skills.

Excellent organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal

Must operate efficiently in a fast dynamic environment.

Required to speak and write the English language in an understandable manner.

Knowledge of basic food preparation principles.

Awareness of occupational hazards and safety precautions and skilled in following food safety practices.

Knowledge of and ability to perform required roles during emergencies.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk, hear, and move about freely in a multi-floor building and open space. The employee is frequently required to visually observe the condition of their surroundings. He/she is routinely required to bend, stoop, stand, walk, carry, and lift objects weighing 50 pounds or less. It is inevitable that other duties will arise sometimes.
