Full Job Description

Join Our Team

Prospectively Healthy is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Credentialing Assistant to support our growing healthcare administration team. This position plays an important role in helping healthcare providers maintain active licenses, remain compliant with regulatory requirements, and successfully complete insurance credentialing and enrollment processes.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys administrative work, organization, spreadsheets, and working behind the scenes to help providers care for patients. No prior credentialing experience is required—we are happy to train the right individual with strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn.

Schedule

Part-time
Minimum 12 hours per week
Additional hours available based on workload and employee preference
Flexible schedule between 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM Monday-Friday after completion of training
No evenings
No weekends
No on-call responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities

Responsibilities during initial training include:

Complete monthly Office of Inspector General (OIG) exclusion searches
Research upcoming provider license renewals
Maintain and update internal credentialing spreadsheets
Update and maintain provider CAQH profiles
Follow up on commercial insurance credentialing applications
Communicate professionally with insurance companies regarding application status
Maintain accurate provider records and documentation
Assist with provider compliance tracking
Complete additional administrative projects as assigned

As experience and proficiency grow, additional credentialing and provider enrollment responsibilities may be introduced.

Qualifications

Required

High school diploma or equivalent
Strong organizational skills
Excellent attention to detail
Basic proficiency with Microsoft Excel
Comfortable using Google Drive and Google Workspace
Accurate keyboarding and data entry skills
Professional written communication skills
Ability to work independently after training
Ability to maintain confidentiality

Preferred

Administrative experience
Healthcare office experience
Experience working with spreadsheets or databases
Credentialing or insurance experience (not required)

Successfully pass a background check
Maintain strict confidentiality
Demonstrate professionalism and integrity
Follow all HIPAA and organizational privacy policies

Compensation

Base Pay: $14.00–$16.00 per hour, depending on experience.

Performance Incentives: Employees are eligible to earn up to an additional $2.00 per hour equivalent through monthly Key Performance Indicator (KPI) incentives based on accuracy, productivity, timeliness, and quality of work.

Total Compensation Opportunity: Up to $18.00 per hour.
