Full Job Description

Position Title: CNC Programmer/Operator

Wage: $20.00-$30.00 per hour

Shift: 1st

Hours: 7:00am-3:00pm

We are looking for a motivated and dependable CNC Lathe / Swiss / Hydromat Machine Operator to join a great manufacturing team. This company is a growing precision machining operation producing high-volume, tight-tolerance components for a variety of industrial applications.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with machinery, learning different manufacturing processes, and being part of a team that takes pride in producing quality parts.

CNC Programmer/Operator Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Operate CNC lathes, Swiss-style CNC machines, Hydromat rotary transfer machines, and other production equipment.
Load and unload machines and monitor production cycles.
Perform in-process inspections using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measuring equipment.
Follow prints, work instructions, inspection procedures, and quality requirements.
Make basic machine adjustments and offsets as needed to maintain part quality.
Monitor tooling and notify appropriate personnel when tooling needs to be changed or replaced.
Identify and report machining, tooling, or quality issues.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
Assist with machine setups and changeovers as skills develop.
Work efficiently to meet production schedules and quality requirements.
Follow all company safety policies and procedures.

CNC Programmer/Operator Requirements:

Manufacturing or machine shop experience is preferred but not required.
Previous CNC, Swiss, Hydromat, or screw machine experience is a plus.
Ability to read and understand basic blueprints or mechanical drawings is preferred.
Comfortable using basic measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality parts.
Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Willingness to learn and develop additional machining skills.
