Overview

Company Description Sonoma County Intergroup Fellowship is a community-focused non-profit that supports personal recovery groups and mutual aid in Sonoma County. The fellowship coordinates meetings, events, publications and resources that promote personal growth, well-being, and connection. It owns and operates a small retail bookstore and community meeting room. It functions with a strong emphasis on service, integrity, and collaboration among volunteers and staff. Team members contribute to maintaining accurate records and efficient operations so the organization can effectively serve the local community.

Role Description The QuickBooks Desktop Data Entry Clerk is a 10-hour weekly on-site job based in Santa Rosa CA. This position is responsible for accurately entering and updating financial data in QuickBooks Desktop and Shopify, including invoices, receipts, payments, deposits, and vendor records. The clerk will reconcile accounts, assist with generating basic financial reports, and help maintain organized digital and paper records. Daily tasks include confirming data accuracy, following established accounting procedures, and collaborating with administrative staff to ensure timely processing of transactions. The role may also involve responding to internal inquiries, supporting routine office tasks, and maintaining confidentiality of financial information.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess strong typing skills and general computer literacy for efficient, accurate data entry in QuickBooks Desktop, Shopify and related software.
Candidates should possess administrative assistance skills, including organizing records, managing files, and supporting routine office processes.
Candidates should possess communication skills to collaborate with team members, clarify financial information, and respond to internal requests clearly and professionally.
Candidates should possess customer service skills to interact respectfully with community members, vendors, and partners as needed.
Experience with QuickBooks Desktop or similar accounting software, Shopify and basic understanding of bookkeeping principles, is highly beneficial.
Strong attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to maintain confidentiality in handling sensitive financial data.
High school diploma or equivalent required; additional coursework or experience in accounting, finance, or office administration is a plus.
Ability to work on-site in Santa Rosa , CA, follow established procedures, and adapt to evolving organizational needs.

Pay: $26.02 - $31.34 per hour
