Sales Executive

Pay: $150,000.00 - $175,000.00 per year OTE

Location: Canal Winchester, OH (Hybrid – 15 hrs/week onsite; remainder remote/traveling within Ohio)

About the Role

We're seeking a dynamic, results-driven Sales Executive to join our growing team. As the face of BSI in the field, you'll sell our full portfolio of ADA-compliant mobility and specialty vehicles — including Forest River Starcraft buses and PrimeTime specialty vehicles — into education, healthcare, senior living, childcare, parking management, and public transit accounts. You'll identify new business opportunities, build lasting client relationships, and represent BSI's value proposition to institutional and fleet buyers across Ohio and beyond.

This position offers substantial earning potential through a competitive base salary plus commission structure, along with the independence and flexibility that comes with managing your own territory.

What We're Looking For

Beyond sales numbers, we're looking for someone who is:

Able to adapt communication style to the audience — from a school transportation director to a hospital fleet manager to a municipal procurement officer
Organized and detail-oriented — manages a complex pipeline and paperwork-heavy deals without dropping the ball
Driven by a sense of urgency — moves deals forward and doesn't let opportunities stall

Responsibilities

Develop and execute strategic territory sales plans to achieve revenue targets
Set required outbound meetings from your book of business via phone, email, LinkedIn, or in-person outreach on a weekly basis to achieve sales quota
Work alongside a dedicated BDR to identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities (prospecting and lead generation remain part of this role, with support from the BDR and top-of-funnel marketing)
Conduct face-to-face meetings with potential clients and deliver compelling presentations
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients through regular communication and on-site visits
Create and submit sales proposals, quotes, and contracts, including cooperative-purchasing and public-sector bid paperwork where applicable
Track all sales activities and maintain accurate records in Salesforce
Analyze market trends and competitor activity within your assigned territory and verticals
Coordinate and attend industry trade shows and networking events
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction
Produce training, marketing, and technical literature as needed
Willingness to travel (approximately 80% of travel is within Ohio)

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's in Business, Marketing, or related field (preferred, not required)
2+ years of successful outside sales experience
Valid Driver's License

Required Skills

Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas
Excellent presentation and negotiation skills
Strong time management and organizational abilities
Exceptional self-management skills without direct supervision
Proficiency in Salesforce or related CRM software
Proficiency in Microsoft Office/Microsoft 365 (Excel, Outlook, Teams)

Preferred Skills & Experience

Sandler sales training or experience with a comparable structured sales methodology
Familiarity with AI tools for prospecting, research, or sales-process efficiency
Automotive knowledge — vehicle specs, upfitting, or chassis/body construction — a strong plus
Prior sales experience in one or more of BSI's key verticals: education, healthcare, parking management, public transit, senior living, or childcare

Base + Commission (Annual On-Target Earnings of $150,000 to $175,000, uncapped commission)
