Guardian Angel Homes is an award-winning assisted living and memory care community in Hermiston. We are looking for a few pleasant and reliable Caregivers and Med Techs to make a difference in the lives of our elderly residents.
The ideal Caregiver or Med Tech is compassionate and friendly with a passion for helping others. Caregivers and Med Techs work closely with nursing staff.
Primary Responsibilities and Duties:
Caregivers assist our elderly residents in virtually all aspects and activities of their daily lives and help bring them joy and fulfillment through positive interactions and with attention to the following duties and responsibilities:
- Hands-on assistance with activities of daily living: dressing, eating, bathing, grooming, toileting, mobility assistance
- Provide prompt response to needs
- Ensure a clean and safe environment
- Monitor residents for physical or behavioral changes
- Accurately chart and report relevant information to nursing or administrative staff
- Provide medications on schedule and assist with delegated nursing tasks (Med Techs only)
- Other tasks as assigned
Qualifications and Skills:
- Must pass a mandatory drug screening and background check
- Must be in good physical health (able to intermittently and routinely sit, stand, walk, bend, rotate, and conduct other physical movements inherent to this position and able to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds) and demonstrate emotional stability
- Must be compassionate and patient
- Must be able to maintain confidences and trust with sensitive information pertaining to our residents and other employees
Working Conditions: In-person, indoors in well-lit and ventilated spaces
BONUS & EXTRA PAY PERKS Include:
- $1000 sign-on bonus ($250 at 3 months, $250 at 6 months, $500 at 1 year)
- OT pay after 40 hours
- Double overtime pay after 48 hours!
- Night/NOC shift starts at $16.75 per hour
- Worked holidays paid at 1.5X pay (time and half)
- Extra pay for delegated Med Tech / Med Aid

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Shifts:
- Day Shift 6:30 am - 2:30 pm
- Evening Shift 2:30 pm - 10:30 pm
- Night/NOC Shift: 10:30pm - 6:30am
