Associate Brand Manager

Position Summary

Baby Trend is seeking a strategic, analytical, and consumer-focused Associate Brand Manager to help drive the growth of our product portfolio across North America. Reporting to the Director of Brand & Marketing, this role will support brand strategy, product lifecycle management, innovation, and go-to-market execution while partnering closely with Sales, Product Development, and cross-functional teams.

This is a high-impact opportunity for a marketing professional looking to grow into a Brand Manager role. The ideal candidate is passionate about consumer products, enjoys turning market insights into business opportunities, and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

As an Associate Brand Manager, you will help shape brand strategy, identify growth opportunities, support new product development, and execute marketing initiatives that strengthen Baby Trend's position in the juvenile products industry.

Essential Responsibilities

Support the Director of Brand & Marketing in developing and executing brand strategies across Baby Trend's product portfolio.
Assist in building short- and long-term brand roadmaps, identifying opportunities for product innovation, category expansion, and portfolio growth.
Conduct competitive, category, and market analyses to identify consumer trends, whitespace opportunities, and business growth initiatives.
Analyze retail POS data, consumer research, syndicated data, and internal sales performance to provide actionable recommendations.
Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, retailer assortments, and consumer behavior through market research and store visits.
Support new product launches by assisting with positioning, pricing strategies, packaging direction, product messaging, and marketing materials.
Collaborate with Product Development to ensure new products align with consumer insights, brand positioning, and market demand.
Assist with forecasting, pricing analysis, SKU rationalization, and portfolio optimization initiatives.
Coordinate cross-functional product launch activities with Sales, Product Development, Operations, Creative, and Customer Service teams.
Manage timelines and deliverables for assigned marketing projects and product launches.
Partner with external agencies, vendors, and creative partners to support marketing initiatives, project execution, budgets, and approvals.
Support digital marketing campaigns, influencer partnerships, trade marketing initiatives, and retailer-specific promotional programs.
Assist in the development of sales presentations, retailer line reviews, and trade show materials.
Participate in industry trade shows, customer meetings, and internal product reviews as needed.
Develop expertise in assigned product categories with the opportunity to assume increasing ownership as the business grows.
Support annual sales, revenue, profitability, and market share objectives through effective brand management.

Qualifications/Education

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field required.
MBA is a plus.

Experience

3-5 years of experience in Brand Management, Product Marketing, Category Management, Consumer Products Marketing, or Product Development.
Experience within juvenile products, durable consumer goods, CPG, toys, or related industries preferred.
Experience working with major retailers such as Walmart, Target, Amazon, Costco, Sam's Club, or specialty retailers is highly desirable.
Experience supporting product launches from concept through commercialization is preferred.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Strong analytical skills with experience interpreting sales data, POS reporting, market research, and consumer insights.
Experience with syndicated data platforms (Circana/NPD or similar) preferred.
Understanding of pricing strategies, product lifecycle management, forecasting, and portfolio management.
Excellent project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills.
Ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders.
Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.
Passion for building brands, developing innovative products, and understanding consumer behavior.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
