About School Nursing Solutions

We're School Nursing Solutions - the only school nursing company in California owned and operated by a Nationally Certified School Nurse. Our mission is simple: help student reach their full potential by keeping them safe at school. We partner with districts, charters, and county offices across California so students have the health support they need to learn and thrive.

When you work with us, you're supervised by a Nationally Certified School Nurse - not a recruiter. We've been in the health office, sat in the IEP meetings, and built the care plans ourselves. We understand the work because we've done it.

The Role

We're looking for a Credentialed School Nurse (CSN) to serve as the primary nurse at a single comprehensive high school in the Ontario / Inland Empire area (San Bernardino County) this fall. You'll be the health office for this campus - caring for students day to day, completing health assessments for students with disabilities, and keeping the site compliant and ready.

This is a full-time, short-term assignment with the possibility of an extension.

What You'll Do

Serve as the site nurse for one comprehensive high school campus
Provide day-to-day health office coverage and student care
Complete health assessments for students with disabilities (IEP / 504)
Oversee medication administration and support staff on health-related needs
Develop and maintain individual health plans and emergency care plans
Consult with school staff and families on student health and safety
Respond to health emergencies and document accurately per California Ed Code

What You Need (Required)

Active California RN license
Valid California School Nurse Services Credential - preliminary is acceptable
Availability for the full assignment window (see schedule below)
Ability to clear the required background check (DOJ/FBI fingerprinting), TB clearance, and current CPR/BLS

Nice to Have (Preferred)

Prior experience as a site or district school nurse
Experience with IEP / 504 health assessments and meetings
High school or secondary campus experience

Schedule

Assignment dates: August 5 - October 9, 2026 (potential extension through late October)
Full-time, Monday through Friday, on-site at one campus
Regular days: 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM
Fridays: 9:30 AM - 3:20 PM
Non-service days: September 7 and October 5
No nights. No weekends. No Holidays. This is a school-day schedule.

Compensation

$82.50/hr
