Full-Time Laboratory Analyst

Company Overview

MASI Environmental Laboratories is a privately owned environmental analytical laboratory dedicated to providing analytical services of the highest quality. We have been providing technical and regulatory expertise to public water systems, industrial pretreatment, and wastewater treatment facilities for over 40 years, making MASI one of the leading analytical laboratories in the State of Ohio.

Position Overview

MASI Environmental Laboratories is seeking a dynamic full-time laboratory analyst to join our team of dedicated professionals focused on client service and quality in our Plain City Facility. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, energetic, and forward thinking. They should be able to work well in a team as well as individually and should possess technical skills, organizational awareness and a commitment to excellence.

Responsibilities

Plan activities in an efficient manner that meets hold times and due dates.
Coordinate with Team Leader to ensure all deadlines are met in an efficient manner
Prepare and analyze samples using a variety of instrumentation
Assess Quality Control and determine if results are valid for reporting
Perform basic maintenance on laboratory equipment and instrumentation
Complete necessary logbooks and documentation
Continuously improve processes to maximize quality, turnaround time and minimize costs

Job Requirements

Basic math skills
Good work ethic and highly motivated individual with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability and willingness to work outside of scheduled hours as required to meet client/workload needs.
Able to adapt to change and handle multiple tasks and responsibilities as assigned
Willingness to learn new skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $16.00 per hour
