Event Sales Assistant – The Bluestone

The Bluestone is seeking a motivated and organized Event Sales Assistant to join our team. This position will support the sales and event departments with private events, concerts, corporate events, weddings, and venue rentals.

The ideal candidate is professional, detail-oriented, and comfortable communicating with clients, vendors, and internal staff. This role requires strong follow-up skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks, and a positive attitude in a fast-paced event environment.

Responsibilities include:

Responding to event inquiries and assisting with client communication
Helping prepare proposals, contracts, invoices, and event details
Assisting with venue tours and client meetings
Maintaining event calendars, files, and sales records
Following up with potential clients and booked events
Coordinating details between clients, management, production, bar, security, and event staff
Supporting day-of-event preparation when needed
Providing professional customer service throughout the sales and event process

Qualifications:

Strong communication and organizational skills
Sales, hospitality, event, or customer service experience preferred
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Comfortable with email, scheduling, and basic computer programs
Professional appearance and attitude
Must be dependable, detail-oriented, and willing to learn
Evening or weekend availability may be required for certain events

Compensation: This position is a full time, salaried position with commission. Compensation will be determined based on qualifications.

Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years Event Experience
Ability to independently handle multiple events, tasks, and projects on a strict timeline
Ability to lift 40+ lbs
Ability to work with a fluctuating schedule with frequent shifts lasting 10-12 hours
Strong basic computer knowledge
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
College Degree Preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
