Full Job Description

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of our affordable housing properties. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills, a solid understanding of property management, and a comprehensive knowledge of Fair Housing regulations. This role requires effective communication and organizational abilities to ensure the highest level of tenant satisfaction and property performance.

Duties

Lead the property management team in daily operations including program compliance governing the tax credit and Section 8 properties.
Manage all aspects of property operations, including leasing, maintenance, and tenant relations.
Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations and local laws governing property management.
Utilize property management software such as Yardi for tracking leases, tenant communications, and maintenance requests.
Conduct regular inspections of properties to assess condition and identify areas for improvement.
Maintain accurate records and organized resident and tax credit files.
Provide exceptional customer service to tenants, addressing concerns and resolving issues promptly.
Implement effective marketing strategies to attract new tenants and retain existing ones.
Complete annual recertifications and interim rent adjustments in a timely manner

Qualifications

Proven experience in property management or a related field is preferred.
Excellent customer service skills with a focus on tenant satisfaction.
Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in record keeping and reporting.
Proficiency in using Yardi property management software is highly desired.
Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations is essential for compliance purposes.
Strong leadership skills managing a team in a fast paced environment
