Assigned Territory: Assigned Territory: Counties of Rio Arriba, Taos, Colfax, Union, McKinley, Sandoval, Santa Fe, San Miguel, Mora, Harding, and Bernalillo

ABOUT US

Belzona Southwest LLC is a leading provider of industrial repair and protective coating solutions throughout Arizona and New Mexico. We supply advanced products and technical solutions designed to address erosion, corrosion, mechanical damage, and other common industrial maintenance challenges. Our team works with customers across a wide range of industries to deliver reliable, long-lasting solutions that improve equipment performance, extend asset service life, and reduce maintenance costs. As we continue to expand, we are seeking a dynamic, self-motivated, and results-oriented Independent Technical Sales Consultant to develop and grow business throughout northern Arizona and San Juan County, New Mexico.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Independent Technical Sales Consultant will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with industrial customers, and providing technical support and guidance regarding Belzona products and applications.

This position requires a proactive and commercially driven individual who is comfortable working independently, developing new customer relationships, and managing sales opportunities throughout the assigned territory.

The successful candidate will be based within the assigned territory, preferably in one of the counties listed above. Although the position is primarily remote and territory-based, the consultant will work closely with the Belzona Southwest LLC head office team located in Glendale, Arizona.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to identify opportunities and grow sales throughout the assigned territory.
Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities across industrial sectors, including manufacturing, general industry, power generation, water and wastewater treatment, mining, and marine, among others.
Conduct site visits with prospective and existing customers to evaluate maintenance and repair challenges and recommend appropriate Belzona solutions.
Deliver product demonstrations, technical presentations, and customer training as required.
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers, industry professionals, and other key stakeholders.
Work closely with Belzona application contractors and provide technical and commercial support for project opportunities.
Maintain accurate records of customer activities, sales opportunities, and project developments.
Provide reliable sales forecasts and regularly report on market conditions, industry trends, customer requirements, and competitor activities.
Collaborate with the Belzona Southwest LLC head office team to support business development initiatives and achieve established sales objectives.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

The successful candidate must possess the following qualifications and attributes:

Experience

A minimum of three years of B2B sales experience, preferably within industrial coatings, mechanical repair, industrial maintenance, or a related technical field.
Experience selling technical products or solutions to industrial customers is preferred.

Skills and Competencies

Strong verbal and written communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Strong mechanical and technical aptitude, with the ability to understand industrial equipment, maintenance challenges, and repair requirements.
Ability and willingness to learn the Belzona product range and develop expertise in a variety of specialized solutions serving multiple industrial sectors.
Ability to assess changing site conditions, evaluate available information, and make sound and timely decisions.
Self-motivated, organized, and capable of working independently while effectively managing time, priorities, and customer relationships.
Proficient in the use of computers and common business software and applications.

Travel and Physical Requirements

Willingness and ability to travel regularly throughout the assigned territory.
A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.
Ability to drive, walk industrial facilities, conduct site visits, and perform hands-on product demonstrations when necessary.
Ability to safely perform the physical activities associated with customer visits, product demonstrations, and technical support in industrial environments.
