Director of Finance / Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Position Summary
The Director of Finance / Chief Financial Officer serves as a key member of the leadership team and is responsible for the overall financial health of the company. This position provides strategic financial leadership and hands-on oversight of accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, cash management, construction accounting, payroll, compliance, risk management, and team leadership.

Primary Responsibilities

· Provide strategic financial leadership and partner with ownership on planning and growth.

· Oversee accounting, AP, AR, payroll, general ledger, and financial reporting.

· Manage construction accounting including job costing, WIP schedules, progress billings, and contract schedules.

· Develop annual budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections.

· Manage banking relationships, insurance, risk management, audits, and tax coordination.

· Maintain internal controls and regulatory compliance.

· Lead and develop accounting staff and collaborate with project managers.

Qualifications

· Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field.

· Minimum Three years of progressive accounting/finance experience.

· Construction accounting experience preferred.

· Experience with QuickBooks or equivalent accounting software.
