We’re currently seeking a Mammo Tech to join our amazing team on the road nationwide!
Details of the Mammo Tech opening:
- Anticipated start date: ASAP
- Anticipated pay range: $2,000-$3,500 weekly
- Anticipated duration of assignment: 13 weeks
- Anticipated schedule: 36-40 hours per week

Daily Range of Responsibilities of the Mammo Tech:
- Provides explanations of imaging procedures; explaining equipment; answering questions
- Conducts mammography study by positioning breasts; adjusting compression mechanisms; instructing patient to hold breath; retreating to lead protected area; adjusting equipment controls to set exposure factors; activating equipment to take image; releasing compression mechanisms; preparing for next positioning and view
- Minimizes radiation to patient and staff by practicing radiation protection techniques
- Maintains production and quality of mammograms by following established standards and procedures; develops mammograms; observes mammogram results; determines necessary adjustments for optimum results; retakes mammograms as required; forwards completed studies to radiologist for interpretation
- Ensures operation of mammography equipment by completing preventive maintenance; instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs; maintaining equipment inventories
- Maintains safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following, and enforcing standards and procedures
- Documents patient mammogram services by completing patient record charting
Qualifications for the Mammo Tech:
- Graduate of an accredited Associate or Bachelor’s degree program in Radiologic Technology or related field
- ARRT (M) Certification
- 6 months to 1+ years experience
- Current BLS certification
