Delivering Exceptional Service Every Step of the Way

At The Salon Professional Academy, we believe in creating memorable experiences for every guest who walks through our doors. We’re looking for a passionate, guest-focused individual to join our team as a Guest Services Specialist. This role is essential in ensuring that every guest receives top-tier hospitality, leaving the academy feeling valued and satisfied. Be the First Impression: As the main point of contact for guests, you will be the face of our academy, providing a welcoming atmosphere from the moment they arrive.
Create Lasting Impressions: Help build customer loyalty by resolving guest inquiries and providing exceptional service at every turn.
Work with Students: Guide students by teaching them essential guest-handling skills, setting them up for success in their careers.

Key Responsibilities:

Guest Reception & Check-In/Out: Greet guests warmly, check them in and out, and ensure their needs are met throughout their visit.
Telephone & Appointment Management: Answer phone inquiries, schedule appointments, and make confirmation calls daily.
Proactive Service: Anticipate and address guests' needs, offering personalized service that exceeds expectations.
Maintain Reception Area: Keep the front desk and surrounding areas tidy, organized, and free of clutter.
Cash Handling & Sales: Open, close, and balance the cash drawer; assist with sales goals and track performance.
Student Coaching: Teach students the importance of guest handling, and ensure they are equipped with the skills to succeed.
Inventory Support: Assist with inventory processes and maintain a well-organized retail area.
Collaboration: Attend team meetings, training events, and sales events as directed by leadership.

Additional Details:

Reports to: Lead Guest Services or Executive Director
Work Schedule:
1 Person: Evenings Possible (4pm-9pm) and every other Saturday (8:30am-5pm)
1 Person: 1 Day 8:30am-5pm and every other Saturday (8:30am-5pm)
