Full Job Description

This opportunity is for a Per Diem Pharmacist position based in Haxtun, Colorado, providing coverage from September 21st through September 25th. The role supports a retail pharmacy affiliated with a hospital, with an average volume of approximately 500 prescriptions per week.

Responsibilities include:

Providing patient counseling to ensure safe and effective medication use
Filling and dispensing medications accurately
Performing final verifications on prescriptions
Managing daily pharmacy operations independently, treating the pharmacy as your own

The pharmacy team consists of two full-time pharmacy technicians and one PRN pharmacist who is rarely onsite, so strong self-management skills are essential.

Hours:

Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Includes a 1-hour lunch break

Qualifications sought:

Active and clear Colorado Pharmacist license
Recent pharmacist experience preferred
New pharmacy graduates are welcome to apply
