As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate professionally, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and security-related policies within a healthcare setting.

Respond to incidents, medical-related emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.

Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, patient care areas, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Monitor access points and assist with visitor management, directions, and escort requests in accordance with site-specific requirements.

Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and report security-related concerns to Allied Universal supervision and designated site contacts.
Minimum Requirements:

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
-
Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.

Handcuffing certification is preferred.

A guard card or license is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
