At Michie Concrete Products, our welders are more than welders—they're problem solvers, fabricators, and craftsmen. You'll build, repair, and modify the custom steel forms that produce the precast concrete structures used on projects across the region.

What You'll Do

Fabricate, repair, and modify custom steel forms used to manufacture precast concrete products
Perform MIG, stick, and other welding processes as required
Read blueprints, sketches, and shop drawings to complete fabrication projects
Work closely with our Maintenance Manager and production team to solve fabrication and equipment challenges
Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on precast forms and related equipment
Operate fabrication equipment including saws, grinders, torches, and other shop tools
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
Take pride in building products that become bridges, culverts, retaining walls, utility structures, and other infrastructure throughout New England

What We're Looking For

Previous welding and fabrication experience required
Experience with MIG and stick welding
Ability to read fabrication drawings and accurately measure materials
Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
Experience using fabrication equipment and hand tools
Mechanical aptitude and strong problem-solving skills
Reliable, self-motivated, and safety-focused
Valid driver's license

Experience working in structural steel, heavy equipment, manufacturing, precast concrete, or industrial maintenance is a plus.
