Marketing and Events Coordinator:
Cahaba Dermatology & Spa is a dynamic, fast-growing dermatology and aesthetics practice in the Hoover area with two locations. We are seeking a highly organized, proactive, and execution-focused Marketing & Events Coordinator to join our team.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in both planning and hands-on execution, with a strong ability to bring marketing initiatives to life through in-office events, out-office events, and seamless operational coordination.
The Marketing & Events Coordinator will work closely with the Marketing Manager and cross-functional team to ensure that all campaigns, promotions, and events are executed at a high level, enhancing patient experience, driving revenue, and strengthening our brand presence both in-office and in the community.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
Event Planning & Execution (Primary Focus)
- Plan, coordinate, and execute all office events, promotions, and patient experiences
- Manage events, pop-ups, and community outreach opportunities
- Coordinate all event logistics including vendors, décor, setup, breakdown, and timelines
- Identify and develop new event and partnership opportunities to drive patient growth and revenue
- Ensure all events reflect brand standards and deliver a high-quality patient experience
Marketing Operations & Execution
- Execute marketing campaigns in-office, including signage, merchandising, and promotional setup
- Coordinate production of print materials, displays, and marketing collateral
- Manage timelines and ensure all marketing initiatives are delivered on schedule
- Work closely with marketing team and management to roll out promotions, new services, and product launches
Internal Communication & Team Alignment
- Ensure all staff are informed, prepared, and aligned for promotions and events
- Communicate key campaign details, expectations, and updates across departments
- Support training and readiness for front desk, providers, and retail teams
Vendor & Partnership Management
- Source, negotiate, and manage relationships with vendors, event partners, and local businesses
- Coordinate collaborations and cross-promotional opportunities within the community
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Strong project management and organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Proven ability to execute events and marketing initiatives from concept to completion
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think proactively
- Ability to work cross-functionally and motivate team members
- High level of professionalism and customer service
Requirements for the Position
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of experience in marketing, event coordination, or related field
- Experience planning and executing events (required)
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings for events
- Proficiency with computers, Microsoft Office, and basic marketing tools
- Self-starter with the ability to follow through with minimal direction
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in healthcare, aesthetics, retail, or hospitality
- Experience with vendor management and partnerships
- Background in experiential marketing or brand events
