Mission:

The aim of this position is to Implement, maintain and communicate Company Environmental and Occupational Health and Safety Policies.

Essential Functions of Role:

· Supervisory Capacity: No Supervisory Responsibilities

Guarantee that the OHS and Environmental Management Systems are established, implemented and updated according to the ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 Standards.
Propose and perform the monitoring for the established objectives, coordinating the activities to achieve them.
Manage OHS and environmental documentation.
Perform the monitoring for the OHS and Environmental management Systems in order to guarantee that all activity records are taken, as established.
Manage internal and external OHS & Environmental audits to demonstrate compliance with requirements of corporate management systems and 45001 & 14001 Standards.
Support the Plant manager with ensuring compliance with all safety and environmental regulations and corporate management systems requirements.
Report about the performance of the OHS and Environmental Management Systems to the Company Management, as well as to the GRUPO ANTOLIN Corporate OHS and Environmental Managers, and to the workers’ representatives.

· Employee must have the ability to work additional hours and / or overtime as needed or assigned to complete job duties on time.

· Ability to multitask, interact politely and professionally with customers, suppliers and vendors, and work cooperatively with employees at all levels.

· Ability to maintain predictable and regular attendance, arrive to designated location on time, or be at assigned location ready to work for assignment.

What we are looking for:

Educational Requirement: High School Graduate or Equivalent

Area of Study: Health, Safety, Environmental

(Equivalent work experience may also be considered for certain positions.)

Years of Experience Required:

· 3-5 Minimum Years of Experience with Health, Safety, & Environmental.

· 1-3 Minimum Years of Experience within the automotive industry

Required Qualifications:

· Language Required: English (Fluency with Reading, Writing, Speaking)

Travel Required: 5-25%

Physical Ability Requirements:

· Stationary Position (Sitting or Standing): Constantly

· Movement (Walking): Constantly

· Carry Weight (Lifting up to XX lbs): Constantly

· Communication (Seeing/Talking/Hearing): Constantly

· Use Hands/Fingers (Operate computer, printer, phone): Constantly

Work Environment:

Office Environment

Often exposed to distracting sounds and noisy conditions

Personal protective equipment is required

Works closely with others, perhaps within a foot of another person

Exposure to hot or cold temperatures

Work is indoor in a manufacturing setting that may not be temperature controlled.

Exposure to hazardous equipment on a daily basis

Are sometimes exposed to contaminants.

Must be able to match the pace of work to the speed of equipment

May frequent manufacturing plants and must follow all rules while visiting locations.
