About the Opportunity
A rapidly growing financial services organization is seeking a Vice President, Business Transformation to drive strategic initiatives across Finance, Operations, Data, and Technology functions.
Over the past several years, the company has invested heavily in building a modern technology foundation, including ERP optimization, enterprise automation, cloud data infrastructure, and business intelligence capabilities. With those foundational systems now in place, the organization is entering its next phase of growth focused on leveraging data, analytics, AI, and process transformation to create meaningful business impact.
This is a highly visible individual contributor role reporting to the leader of Enterprise Systems. The successful candidate will operate as an internal consultant and transformation leader, partnering directly with executives and business stakeholders to identify opportunities, design solutions, and drive implementation across the organization.
The position is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of business process, technology, finance, operations, and change management.
The Role
As Vice President, Business Transformation, you will work across departments to identify opportunities to improve efficiency, automate workflows, enhance reporting capabilities, and unlock new business value through technology.
You will be responsible for understanding complex operational challenges, gathering requirements from stakeholders, developing future-state solutions, and partnering with internal technical teams to deliver results.
Success in this role requires a unique blend of business acumen, enterprise systems expertise, project leadership, and exceptional communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
Enterprise Transformation & Strategic Initiatives
Partner with Finance, Accounting, Operations, Treasury, and Technology leaders to identify process improvement and transformation opportunities
Facilitate discovery sessions, workshops, and stakeholder interviews to uncover business needs and pain points
Translate business requirements into actionable technology and process solutions
Develop implementation roadmaps, business cases, and project plans
Drive execution across multiple concurrent transformation initiatives
ERP, Data & Analytics Leadership
Serve as a senior advisor on ERP optimization and enhancement initiatives
Partner with systems, data, and analytics teams to expand business intelligence capabilities
Help define reporting, dashboarding, and performance measurement strategies
Leverage enterprise data platforms to improve visibility, decision-making, and operational performance
Ensure business stakeholders fully adopt and realize value from technology investments
AI & Automation Initiatives
Identify opportunities to automate manual workflows using AI and intelligent automation technologies
Evaluate emerging tools and platforms that can improve efficiency and scalability
Partner with technical teams to design and implement AI-enabled business processes
Drive organizational adoption of new capabilities
Operational Excellence
Lead initiatives focused on:
Accounts receivable process optimization and cash application automation
Financial reconciliation and auditing efficiencies
Workflow automation and operational controls
Enterprise reporting and analytics modernization
Process standardization and continuous improvement
Stakeholder Management
Build trusted relationships across business and technology teams
Influence without direct authority
Present recommendations and project updates to executive leadership
Align diverse stakeholders around strategic priorities and implementation plans
Serve as the primary liaison between business users and technical delivery teams
