Job Title: Lead Field Technician / Crew Leader - Robotic Dredging

Summary
We offer fulltime, year-round, steady work with significant overtime available. The annual cash compensation including overtime can range anywhere from $72,000 to $100,000. Additionally, you will receive Per Diem while traveling & hotels are paid by the company. The Lead Field Technician / Crew Leader is responsible for managing onsite installation, equipment repair/maintenance, diagnosing errors or technical problems, rigging and labor work, operating robots for sediment removal and dredging, supervising field technicians, providing service, and customer support. We are looking for crew leaders who are not afraid to get dirty and lead by example. While you are managing the crew on a jobsite, you are also a part of the team, so you will be expected to help in the set-up, maintenance, and take-down of field equipment. This is not a position for you to sit back supervise. We are looking for individuals that are willing to get their hands dirty and lead by example. If you are afraid of heights or cannot pass an extensive background check and drug test, this may not be the position for you.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following and other duties may be assigned:
· Correctly set up, operate and monitor cranes, trash pumps, generators, and cleaning robots.
· Services and installs all equipment according to an established service schedule, company standards and within acceptable time frames as well as troubleshoot and rectify potential problems on location.
· Delegate the workflow on jobsites under tight deadlines per customer demands.
· Applies knowledge of products and seeks additional training /education as appropriate.
· Produces timely and detailed service reports, documenting legibly and accurately all work completed, including End of Day reports, according to company policy, and submits on a daily basis.
· Works closely with management to ensure timely scheduling of installations, repairs and service work.
· Manages all on site installation, repair, maintenance, rigging of equipment and test tasks.
· Run and maintain generators; use hand tools such as power tools.
· Maintains service vehicles in a clean manner at all times and ensures preventive maintenance is performed in a timely fashion.
· Dewatering sludge using various company approved methods.
· Keeps vehicle stocked with a sufficient supply of parts and tools.
· Operate Truck and Trailer combination in DOT compliant manner.
· Builds and maintains customer relations in field to ensure excellent customer service and enhance the company’s image.
· Cooperates with other teams and share information across the organization.
· Assists with training of less experienced technicians.
· Supervises jobsite team and ensure all jobs run smoothly.
Supervisory Responsibilities
Directly supervises 2-4 employees on a jobsite. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include training employees, planning, assigning, and directing work, appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining employees, and addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Education and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent required. 6 months to 1-year of college, technical/vocational school preferred; or 6 months to 1-year related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer Skills
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and mobile devices.

Travel
This position would travel approximately 80-85% of the time, which would include overnight stays, lasting 1-8 weeks at a time.
Must have reliable transportation.
