Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Behavioral Health Manager / Program Manager in an HCBS-HCS program to lead our mental health and behavioral services team. In this vital role, you will oversee clinical operations, coordinate client care, and ensure the delivery of high-quality behavioral health services across diverse populations of Individuals with Intellectual disability . Your leadership will foster a supportive environment that promotes recovery, resilience, and well-being for individuals of all ages, including children, adolescents, and adults. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of those facing mental health challenges while maintaining compliance with healthcare standards and regulations. The company will train you on the rules and regulations of the HCBS-HCS program.

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise a multidisciplinary team of behavioral health professionals, including therapists, counselors, and case managers
Oversee patient assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and treatment planning of clients in the group home, foster care and the ISS (Day Hab)
Coordinate intake procedures to ensure timely access to services for new clients
Manage crisis intervention efforts and crisis management protocols to support individuals in acute distress
Develop and implement services in the clients individualized service plan
Ensure accurate medical documentation, maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations, and oversee medical records management
Collaborate with community agencies and support systems to facilitate home & community care initiatives and case management efforts
Assist in hiring and staffing the group homes and training staff and ensuring services are provided within HHSC guidelines
Maintain thorough patient care documentation and filing policy of the company
Participate in clients Individualized plan of care meetings and collaborating with the case managers, guidance and clients authorized representatives
Ensuring the company is in compliance with HHSC rules and regulations.

Experience

Proven experience in behavioral health management or clinical supervision within a healthcare or mental health setting
knowledge of mental health services which may include nursing practice in the capacity of a Registered nurse - RN or Licensed Practical nurse - LPN/LVN
Hands-on experience working with children, adolescents, or individuals with disabilities such as autism spectrum disorder (ASD) or developmental disabilities
Background in crisis intervention, crisis management and Emergency Intervention
Familiarity with medical terminology, medical documentation standards, HIPAA compliance, and electronic health records (EHR) systems
Background in leadership and managerial skills
Ability to lead group sessions effectively and managing individual patient care plans with their therapists
Knowledge of clinical disciplines and services they provide and ability to coordinate clients care.
Ability to communicate effectively and experience in Multi-tasking and working in fast pace environment.

Pay: $50,383.91 - $60,677.39 per year
