Job Summary:

We are seeking a Regulatory Reporting Analyst to support critical regulatory and operational reporting activities within a leading financial services organization. This role is responsible for executing daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting related to debt issuance activity.

The ideal candidate will have experience in financial services, payment operations, regulatory reporting, and data analysis, with a strong focus on accuracy, risk mitigation, and operational controls.

This is a hybrid position located in Houston, Texas, with an expectation of four days per week onsite.

Key Responsibilities:

Regulatory Reporting: Execute daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting activities related to debt issuance activity maintained within the Transtar platform.
Report Production and Validation: Prepare, validate, and distribute required regulatory reports. Consolidated Transfer Agent, TA-1, TA-2, and Market Metrics reporting.
Data Analysis: Analyze regulatory and operational data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities to improve reporting accuracy and strengthen controls.
Ad Hoc Reporting: Support customized and bespoke reporting requests while ensuring timely and accurate delivery of reporting requirements.
Risk and Control Management: Perform quality assurance reviews and execute established controls to ensure regulatory compliance, data integrity, and mitigation of operational risk.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with internal business partners to resolve reporting issues, investigate data discrepancies, and clarify reporting requirements.
Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline manual processes and implement more efficient reporting solutions.
Automation Initiatives: Leverage tools such as Alteryx to automate reporting workflows, improve consistency, and enhance overall data quality.
Documentation Management: Maintain detailed process documentation, procedural guides, and control documentation to support audit and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

Experience within financial services, payment operations, regulatory reporting, or operational data analysis.
Experience managing recurring reporting obligations across multiple reporting cycles, including daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting requirements.
Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including experience with VLOOKUPs and data analysis functions.
Demonstrated understanding of reporting controls, operational risk, and data quality requirements.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Bachelor's degree required.

Preferred Experience:

Alteryx Designer Core Certification.
Experience automating manual reporting processes.
Previous experience supporting debt issuance, transfer agency, or similar regulated financial operations.
Familiarity with Transtar or comparable financial reporting systems.
Experience improving reporting workflows through automation and process optimization.
