TOOL AND DIE MAKER/TECHNICIAN
This position offers a flexible 10 hour shift on SECOND SHIFT between the hours of 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 a.m. in a 24 hour operational facility.
SIGN ON BONUS ELIGIBLE payable at 3 MONTHS / 6 MONTHS / ONE YEAR.
Applicant should have a 2 year degree from accredited technical college or post-secondary school with emphasis in Tool and Die or minimum of 2 years on the job training in this respected field would be considered.
Journeyman certification is preferred but not required with 6+ years' experience in Tool and Die build or repair.
Responsibilities include troubleshooting and diagnosing dies in and out of the press to resolve any quality or die concerns. Perform unscheduled and scheduled preventative maintenance on tooling and dies. Utilize CNC and manual Mills, WEDM machines to produce die details for tooling repairs and new die builds. Read prints, setup to manufacture dies. Support continuous improvement and lean manufacturing programs.
Experience with surface grinders, vertical and horizontal mills, lathes, radial arm drill press, heat treating processes, Tig welding and large overhead cranes. CNC, WEDM programming and tow motor experience a plus.
Follows all safety processes and procedures, quality driven, physically able to lift up to 70 lbs. and excited about working in a team oriented stamping manufacturing environment.

Pay Frequency:
- Biweekly (Commensurate wage based on Tool and Die Journeymen or job experience in the tool and die trade.
