Professional Painter – Apprentice, Journeyman & Foreman

Full-Time W-2 | Year-Round Work
Pearl Painting is growing our in-house painting team, and we're looking for career painters who take pride in their work and in the way they serve customers.
We have a strong pipeline of work and are hiring painters at multiple skill levels — from experienced apprentices and team members to journeyman painters and crew leaders/foremen.
This is a year-round W-2 position. We work through the winter and do not plan seasonal layoffs.
We're looking for people who want to make painting their career, continue developing their skills, and become an important part of a professional team.
At Least 1 Year of Painting Experience Required
This is not an entry-level painting position.
You don't need to be a master painter or crew leader to apply. We need people at different skill levels, and there is room to grow within our team.
However, applicants must have at least 1 year of professional painting experience and be comfortable working on a professional painting crew.
Depending on your experience, you may join us as a:
- Experienced apprentice / developing painter
- Painter / crew member
- Journeyman-level painter
- Crew leader / foreman
Compensation and responsibilities will reflect your experience and ability.

What You'll Do
Depending on your experience level, responsibilities may include:
- Interior and exterior residential painting
- Preparing and protecting customer homes before painting
- Masking, patching, sanding, caulking, and other prep work
- Brushing, rolling, and spraying
- Painting walls, ceilings, trim, doors, siding, and other surfaces
- Maintaining a clean and organized jobsite
- Communicating professionally with homeowners
- Working effectively as part of a painting crew
- Helping less-experienced painters develop their skills
- For foremen: leading crews, communicating with customers, and taking ownership of the project from start to finish
