Build and Release Manager with Agile/Iterative Focus

The Build Manager is responsible for overseeing the build, integration, and release management processes, ensuring smooth deployments and efficient CI/CD pipelines.

Key Responsibilities:

Define and manage the build and release process across multiple environments.
Maintain and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.
Troubleshoot and resolve build failures and deployment issues.
Automate software build and deployment processes to improve efficiency.
Work with development and operations teams to ensure code quality and integration.
Implement version control and branching strategies (Git, Bitbucket).

Qualifications and Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Project Management, Cybersecurity, or related field.
Minimum of seven (7) years of experience in build management. Proficient in server-side technologies and the latest frameworks. Proven track record of managing robust, scalable build systems and collaborating effectively within an agile environment to ensure seamless integration and deployment processes.
Experience working on Agile teams and leveraging the latest tools, techniques, and methods for building and deploying server-side applications.
Proficient in managing CI/CD pipelines to automate and streamline the integration and deployment processes.
Skilled in configuring and maintaining build environments to ensure stability and reliability.
Comfortable operating within an agile and lean environment to consistently deploy updates and enhancements.
Proficiency in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Bamboo, Azure DevOps).
Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes).
Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.

Employment Type:

Full Time, Hybrid – Must be able to report on-site at client’s location, as required.

Security Clearance:

Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance. Active MBI Clearance preferred.
US Citizenship or Lawful Permanent Resident required.
