Help Wanted – Office Administrative Assistant
Crosby Yacht Yard, Inc. – Osterville, MA

Crosby Yacht Yard, Inc., a full-service marina and boatyard located on the waterfront in Osterville, is seeking a full-time, year-round Office Administrative Assistant.

Founded in 1850, Crosby Yacht Yard is one of the oldest continually operating boatyards on the East Coast. We provide a full range of services for our customers and their vessels. In addition to maintenance and storage, we sell new and pre-owned boats and custom-build the Crosby boat line. Our team takes pride in a long-standing tradition of craftsmanship, customer service, and a friendly, supportive work environment.

Position Overview:
The ideal candidate will be organized, personable, and comfortable in a fast-paced, customer-focused setting. While there are a variety of core responsibilities, additional tasks may be assigned based on the individual’s strengths and prior experience. We’re happy to train the right candidate and offer long-term growth potential for someone interested in the marine industry.

Key Responsibilities:

General office support, including phone and email communication
Data entry, record-keeping, office supplies, and maintaining customer and vessel files
Maintaining customer and vendor insurance records
Maintaining company licenses, permits, and insurance documentation
Assisting with administrative coordination
Providing support to other departments as needed
Supporting management on seasonal projects
Processing and issuing selected customer communications
Credit card and customer payment processing

Qualifications:

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Willingness to learn industry-specific software (training provided)
Strong attention to detail and communication skills
Experience in a marine or service-oriented business is helpful but not required

Work Schedule and Benefits:

Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
