Job Description: CAD Drafter / Detailer

Idaho Custom Iron Works is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Drafter / Detailer with experience in structural and architectural steel. We are looking for someone with 1–3 years of experience who is eager to grow with our team and contribute to high-quality steel fabrication project Starting Pay: $25–$32 per hour
(Based on experience and qualifications)Responsibilities

Create and maintain detailed 3D models and shop / fabrication drawings using 2D and 3D CAD software (Revit, Advance Steel, Onshape)
Coordinate with project managers, estimators, engineers, and fabrication teams
Review plans and specifications for accuracy and constructability
Assist with project revisions, RFIs, and drawing updates
Maintain organized project documentation and drawing standards

Qualifications

1–3 years experience required
Experience with structural steel and architectural steel
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Self starter, Ability to prioritize and complete assigned tasks on time
AutoCAD, Revit, Advance Steel experience is a plus
Familiarity with 3D Exports / Imports a plus
