Full Job Description

iWest Companies is looking for a Warehouse Team Lead for our InterWest Design & Hospitality Team. Duties/Responsibilities:

Committed to live and teach the iWest core values at every opportunity.
Responsible for assisting with daily activities of the warehouse including shipping, receiving, maintenance, inventory, controlling, and directing all activities necessary for efficient warehouse operations in the Final Mile Department.
Assist and lead warehouse team to move inventory from location to location, load and unload trucks.
Oversee the warehouse area is maintained in a neat and orderly manner.
Assist with creation and implementation of procedures to receive/send, unload/load, sort, and store all incoming and outgoing freight accurately and efficiently.
Ensures that all inbound and outbound procedures are followed i.e. freight is stored in an orderly fashion and accuracy of all inventory tracking.
Ensures that delivery teams have product ready daily.
Oversee the receipt of returned products and processes them for return to proper location.
Assist with customer issues, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within time limits.
Keep track of warehouse supplies and equipment, inform Site Lead of order points.
Organize freight picked for specific delivery routes to various locations while working with team.
Adhere to all iWest established policies and procedures.
Maintain warehouse safety in accordance with both company and governmental standards.
Warehouse Team Lead may periodically be called upon to assist with deliveries, so physicality is to be expected.
Assist with special projects and all other duties assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

Proven Exceptional Customer Service skills.
Strong Active Listening/Communication Skills and ability to lead others.
Ability to adapt/respond to different types of clients and situations.
Ability to function well in a high-paced environment.
Capable of lifting up to 75 lbs without assistance and up to 300 lbs with team assistance.
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
Ability to pass an Agility Test, Drug Screen, and Background Check.
Ability to work a Full Time Schedule – Year-round work.

Education/Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent – College Degree a plus.
1 year experience in a Warehouse environment – preferred.
Forklift Experience/Certifications – preferred.
Knowledge of Computer Systems including Microsoft Software.
Knowledge of Windfall Reporting System a plus.
Military experienced candidates are encouraged to apply.

Position Details:

Schedule: M-F, occasional Saturdays
Compensation: Starting at $22.00/hr. based on experience
Benefits: Medical, Dental, PTO, and 401k available upon eligibility
