Full Job Description

Job Overview

We are a Korean company seeking a motivated and results-driven Accounting/Administrator Assistant for our HR/Administration team in Carmel, Indiana.
The ideal candidate would be a detail-oriented and proactive who will support project managers in the execution of a large-scale construction initiative. As an Accounting Assistant, you will have the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment, gain valuable experience in various accounting functions, and contribute to the overall success of our finance team. As an Administrative Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office. Your excellent phone etiquette, organizational skills, and attention to detail will be essential in providing effective administrative support.

Responsibilities

Answer and direct phone calls in a professional manner
Perform general clerical duties, including photocopying, faxing, and mailing
Maintain electronic and hard copy filing database
Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner
Coordinate and schedule appointments and meetings
Assist with order entry and inventory management
Assist with basic bookkeeping using Quickbooks
Assist with preparing financial statements, reports, and budgets
Perform account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data
Prepare and post journal entries to the general ledger
Assist in month-end and year-end closing process
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
Assist with payroll processing and employee expense reimbursements

Qualifications

Proven experience in administrative support, preferably in construction or industrial environments
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Experience with account reconciliation and journal entry preparation
Strong knowledge in accounting principles
Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
Associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
5+ years of experience preferred
Fluent in Korean (optional)

Pay: $4,500.00 - $4,800.00 per month
