Full Job Description

Southside Specialty Surgery Center is looking for a compassionate, dependable Part-Time Radiologic Technologist to become part of our growing surgical team. This position is ideal for a Radiologic Technologist seeking a flexible schedule, excellent work-life balance, or an opportunity to supplement their current income. Our physician-led ambulatory surgery center specializes primarily in pain management and spine procedures, providing high-quality outpatient care in a collaborative, patient-centered environment.

The Radiologic Technologist will be responsible for operating C-arm fluoroscopy during procedures while working closely with physicians, anesthesia providers, nurses, and other clinical staff to ensure safe, efficient patient care.

Primary Responsibilities

Operate C-arm fluoroscopy during pain management and spine procedures.
Produce high-quality imaging while following all radiation safety standards.
Support physicians with intraoperative imaging needs.
Perform routine operational checks of radiology equipment and promptly report maintenance concerns.
Complete required documentation accurately and timely.
Work collaboratively with surgeons, anesthesia providers, nursing staff, and surgical personnel to maintain efficient patient flow.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe procedural environment.

QualificationsRequired

Current Texas Medical Board Radiologic Technologist License
Strong knowledge of radiation safety principles
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently while contributing to a team-oriented environment

Preferred

ARRT Certification
Experience operating a C-arm in an ambulatory surgery center, hospital, orthopedic, spine, pain management, or surgical setting
Current BLS/CPR Certification

Schedule & Benefits

Part-time position
Typically 1–2 weekdays per week
Monday through Friday daytime schedule
No nights
No weekends
No on-call requirements
