Full Job Description

Position: Travel Occupational Therapist (OT) – Inpatient Rehabilitation
Location: Mount Clemens, MI
Job Type: Temporary / Travel
Contract: 13 weeks with possible extension
Start Date: September 8, 2026
Pay: $2400 to $2600 for Travelers
Pay: $45 to $51 For Local candidates
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8-hour shifts

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Occupational Therapist to join our multidisciplinary healthcare team. This role involves providing comprehensive occupational therapy services to individuals across diverse settings, including inpatient, outpatient, pediatric, geriatric, and community-based environments. The successful candidate will assess patients’ needs, develop personalized treatment plans, and implement evidence-based interventions to promote functional independence and improve quality of life. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact through patient-centered care and collaborative practice.

Responsibilities

Evaluate patients' functional abilities and rehabilitation needs.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
Provide occupational therapy interventions to improve physical and cognitive skills.
Help patients regain independence with activities of daily living.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
Document patient evaluations, treatments, and progress accurately.
Support safe discharge planning and patient education.

Requirements

Active Michigan Occupational Therapist license at the time of submission.
Minimum 2 years of Inpatient Rehabilitation (IPR) Occupational Therapy experience.
Minimum 2 years of Acute Care Occupational Therapy experience.
Strong clinical, communication, and documentation skills.
Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
