Full Job Description

Responsibilities

Act as a vital financial bridge between closing and recording. Responsible for reviewing executed loan documents, balancing transaction files, verifying "good funds," and coordinating with lenders to officially release and disburse funds to all parties
Assist Escrow Team in all aspects of the escrow process, from initial setup to final disbursement
Prepare and process escrow documents, including but not limited to opening packages, closing statements, deeds, and loan documents, with accuracy and efficiency
Maintain and organize escrow files, ensuring all documents are properly executed, tracked, and stored in compliance with company policies and legal requirements
Communicate effectively and professionally with clients, lenders, real estate agents, and other parties involved in the transaction, providing timely updates and responding to inquiries
Coordinate and schedule signings, notary services, and other appointments as needed
Assist with the preparation of wire transfers, checks, and other disbursements
Review title commitments and exception documents, identifying potential issues and escalating them to the Escrow Officer
Ensure all necessary conditions of the escrow agreement are met prior to closing
Assist with post-closing tasks, such as recording documents and preparing final title policies
Maintain a high level of confidentiality regarding sensitive financial and personal information
Provide general administrative support, including answering phones, managing emails, photocopying, and maintaining office supplies
Stay up-to-date on relevant industry regulations and best practices
Perform other duties as assigned by the Escrow Officer or management

Qualifications

1-3 years of experience preferred in as an Escrow Assistant/Funder
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Exceptional customer service skills and a professional demeanor
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Knowledge of basic escrow principles and procedures is a plus
Familiarity with relevant software and technology used in the escrow process is a plus
High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.

Benefits

Based on eligibility, comprehensive benefits package
Pay range: $60,000-$75,000 base depending on experience and bonus structure

Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
