CMM Programmer Requirements and Competencies

An ideal team player mindset: drive, humility and people smarts.
Minimum 5 years of CMM programming experience.
Machine shop inspection experience required.
Manual inspection experience required.
Blueprint and GD&T understanding required.
PC-DMIS experience preferred.
Offline Programming experience preferred.
Experience creating CMM set-up sheets preferred.
Effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of an organization.
Good problem solving and decision-making abilities.
Computer skills (Microsoft suite).
Attention to detail, attention to accuracy in work tasks, organizational skills.
Ability to work within a fast-paced environment.

The 1st shift position operates Monday through Friday, from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. (Additional overtime and Saturdays may be required.)

CMM Programmer Responsibilities

Develop, edit, and optimize CMM programs
Interpret engineering drawings, CAD models, and GD&T requirements
Create clear and detailed set-up sheets and work instructions for CMM operators
Perform first article inspections (FAI), in-process, and final inspections
Collaborate with engineering, machining, and quality teams to resolve inspection issues
Validate and troubleshoot CMM programs and measurement processes
Ensure compliance with aerospace quality standards (AS9100, etc.)
Maintain inspection documentation and records
Support continuous improvement initiatives in quality and inspection processes
Other duties as assigned.
