Full Job Description

Full-Time Physical Therapy Aide

Advantage Healthcare is seeking a motivated, energetic, and compassionate Full-Time Physical Therapy Aide to join our growing multidisciplinary medical team. This position works directly alongside our licensed Physical Therapist, Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA), and Chiropractor to provide exceptional patient care and rehabilitation services.

We are looking for an individual who is organized, dependable, personable, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate enjoys working with people, is an excellent communicator, and has a passion for helping patients achieve their rehabilitation goals.

Responsibilities

Assist the Physical Therapist and PTA with patient rehabilitation programs.
Instruct and educate patients on proper exercise techniques and therapeutic stretches.
Ensure patients are performing exercises safely and correctly while following prescribed treatment plans.
Provide encouragement and motivation throughout each patient's rehabilitation process.
Monitor multiple patients simultaneously within the therapy area (up to eight patients at one time).
Accurately document patient activities and treatment notes in our electronic medical record system in a timely manner.
Maintain a clean, organized, and professional therapy environment.
Work collaboratively with our providers and staff to deliver outstanding patient care.

Qualifications

Minimum of 1 year of experience in physical training, personal training, exercise science, kinesiology, physical therapy, or a related field is required.
Strong knowledge of therapeutic exercises, stretching techniques, and proper body mechanics is required.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to multitask efficiently in a busy clinical setting.
Organized, punctual, dependable, and detail-oriented.
Positive attitude with a strong team-player mentality.
Quick learner who is eager to grow professionally.

Training Provided:
While previous exercise and rehabilitation knowledge is required, you will receive comprehensive training on our specific rehabilitation protocols and office procedures.

Schedule

Monday: 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM | 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM
Tuesday: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM | 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM
Wednesday: 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM | 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM
Thursday: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM | 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM
Friday: 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM

Occasional additional time may be needed during the lunch break or at the end of the day to complete patient documentation.
