The Medical Surgery RN Educator will support a busy Medical Surgical Department caring for a broad range of adult patients with acute and chronic conditions, postoperative needs, and complex care plans. Working in a dynamic clinical setting, the Medical Surgery RN Educator will assess learning needs, develop and deliver educational programs, coordinate orientation and competency validation, promote regulatory readiness, and help nursing teams implement current standards of medical-surgical practice.

The Medical Surgery RN Educator will report to experienced nursing leadership and receive strong support from clinical managers, educators, and hospital administrators. Responsibilities include mentoring friendly nurses, coaching new hires, supporting professional development, evaluating clinical competencies, and partnering on performance-improvement projects. The Medical Surgery RN Educator will collaborate with a diverse team of physicians, advanced practice providers, therapists, pharmacists, case managers, and other healthcare professionals committed to respectful teamwork and excellent patient outcomes.
