Inside Sales Representative

Greene Manufacturing, Inc. – Chelsea, MI
Full-Time | Monday-Friday | Occasional Travel

Greene Manufacturing has been designing and manufacturing high-quality steel workspace and storage solutions for over 55 years. We serve customers in education, manufacturing, automotive, government, and industrial markets across North America. We are looking for an energetic, relationship-driven Inside Sales Representative to help grow our customer base while providing outstanding service to existing customers.

This position is primarily office-based but includes occasional local customer visits, facility walkthroughs, and attendance at regional trade shows.

What You'll Do

Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
Respond to inbound sales inquiries by phone, email, and website.
Prepare quotations and follow up on opportunities.
Proactively identify new sales opportunities through outbound calls and emails.
Work closely with engineering and production to develop solutions that meet customer needs.
Coordinate projects from quotation through order completion.
Maintain accurate customer information and sales activity in our CRM/ERP system.
Visit local customers for project meetings, site measurements, product demonstrations, and relationship building.
Represent Greene Manufacturing at industry trade shows and customer events.
Stay informed on our product lines, industry trends, and customer applications.
Help identify new markets and opportunities for growth.

What We're Looking For

2+ years of inside sales, customer service, or account management experience (manufacturing or industrial products preferred).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Comfortable learning technical products and reading basic drawings or specifications.
Self-motivated with a positive, team-oriented attitude.
Proficient with Microsoft Office; CRM or ERP experience is a plus.
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel locally and attend occasional overnight trade shows.

Preferred Experience

Manufacturing or industrial equipment sales.
Educational, automotive, or technical training markets.
Experience quoting custom or made-to-order products.
Experience with Fulcrum ERP or similar ERP systems.
