Executive Sous Chef | Gather Jackson Hole Modern Eclectic Cuisine — Bold, Balanced, Intentional.

Gather Jackson Hole is looking for a sharp, seasoned Executive Sous Chef to run the kitchen alongside our Executive Chef. This is a hands-on leadership role in a high-volume, fast-paced restaurant known for its commitment to quality, creativity, and hospitality excellence.

Our cuisine is Modern Eclectic — bold flavors, intentional technique, and a commitment to sourcing and execution that keeps guests coming back. Jackson Hole is one of the most unique and dynamic restaurant markets in the country, and we're building something worth being part of.

The Role As Executive Sous Chef, you will be the second in command of the kitchen — responsible for daily operations, team leadership, event execution, and maintaining the standards that define us.

Key responsibilities include leading and managing the line during service, training and developing BOH staff, overseeing prep systems, supporting inventory and ordering, executing private events and group dining, stepping in as the kitchen lead in the Executive Chef's absence, and supporting food cost and labor management.

Who You Are You have 4+ years of kitchen leadership experience at the Sous Chef level or above. You've worked high-volume, full-service restaurants and know how to lead a team under fire. Experience with events or banquet operations is a real plus. You're organized, accountable, and you lead from the front — not from the office.

Compensation & Benefits $80,000 per year (based on experience) + Bonus - Health insurance | 401(k) with matching | Paid time off | Employee meals

Schedule: Full-time, 50 to 60 hours/week. Nights, weekends, and holidays are part of the job.

Housing Note: Employer-provided housing is not available for this role. Jackson Hole's housing market is competitive — please review the area and confirm you are prepared to secure independent housing before applying.

Pay: From $80,000.00 per year
