Location: Hybrid: This position requires on-site presence within our branches each week to participate in training, build internal partnerships and cultivate business opportunities.

We are looking for a dynamic, community-minded Junior Mortgage Loan Originator who is energized by building relationships, growing business, and creating meaningful member experiences across the Jackson, Saline, Chelsea, and Ann Arbor region(s). This developmental role is ideal for someone who is ready to strengthen their mortgage expertise while building visibility in the market, deepening community connections, and helping more people pursue a life well lived.

What Success Looks Like

You build trusted relationships with members, business partners, and community contacts across the Jackson, Saline, Chelsea, and Ann Arbor region.
You are visible and engaged, showing up onsite consistently for training, partnership development, and business cultivation, while also representing TRUE well at key community events.
You grow in confidence and capability as a mortgage professional by strengthening your knowledge of products, systems, compliance requirements, and the full loan lifecycle.
You use sound judgment, critical thinking, and problem solving to navigate member needs, remove obstacles, and create smooth, responsive experiences.
You embrace technology and use digital tools effectively to stay organized, communicate clearly, and support strong follow-through.
You actively contribute to business development by turning relationships, referrals, and community visibility into meaningful lending opportunities.

Expected Starting Salary Range: The Junior Mortgage Loan Originator position will be structured with a minimum hourly rate starting at $24 - $30 per hour and may increase based on direct and relevant work experience. Upon transition to a fully functional Mortgage Loan Officer role, the compensation structure is expected to shift to a base salary with commission based on loan origination.
